Nicola Ridges-Jones raises £20k from Charity Gala Fundraiser

Oracle Supporter Nicola Ridges-Jones, pictured with Oracle CEO Anthony Sykes presents a cheque for £20,000, bringing her total to an astonishing £100k raised over the past ten years.  Nicola chose Oracle as her charity following her father’s battle with throat cancer, who sadly passed away in 2004.  Nicola established the Fred Ridges Jones Foundation, set up in her father’s memory that supports vital research work into Head and Neck Cancer.  Some of the fundraising activities over the past ten years have included skydiving, charity walks, and gala dinners, the last of which was held in March 2015 at the Botley Grange Hotel in Hampshire.  Says Nicola “The gala dinner was a hugely enjoyable event and a fantastic way to help raise money for such a deserving cause.  With Oracle’s help, my father went to live another two years and I cannot put into words how grateful I am to the Charity for giving our family that extra time together.”
