What to Expect navigating Head and Neck Cancer

Navigating a Head and Neck cancer diagnosis, whether as a patient, carer, and/or family member, is incredibly challenging. The following sections provide some information and perspectives on what to anticipate throughout the diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment journey. Everyone has a different experience and so we recommend in all cases that you reach out to your medical team if you have any specific questions or concerns.

These sections are written by the Oracle Voices patients and carers group based on their own experiences and information gathered.

We have also collated a number of blogs kept by patients, and if you know of more, or would like to add your own to the list, please contact Oracle Voices. These blogs are varied in their approach and content, but all contain useful information and reflections on what it’s like to be a cancer patient.
