Dr Zsuzsie Iyizoba-Ebozue

Clinical Research Fellow at the Leeds Cancer Centre
Zsuzsie works with the Royal College of Radiologists to promote diversity, equality and inclusion in clinical oncology education and research.

Dr Iyizoba-Ebozue is a Clinical Research Fellow at the Leeds Cancer Centre, with research interests in radiotherapy trials, survivorship, and quality of life in head and neck cancers. Her work on developing a UK consensus for radiotherapy in sinonasal malignancies helped inform the design of the UK Phase III proton trial, PROTIS (PROton versus IMRT for Sinonasal Cancers). Additionally, findings from her research on retropharyngeal nodes has been incorporated into UK national head and neck radiotherapy guidelines. Her PhD focuses on neurocognitive outcomes, fatigue, and quality of life following radiotherapy for oropharyngeal cancers.

She works with the Royal College of Radiologists to promote diversity, equality and inclusion in clinical oncology education and research. Her Master’s in hospital management allows her to integrate clinical expertise with strategic leadership within both clinical and research environments.
