Oxford reception celebrates new partnership
Oracle Cancer Trust hosted a reception recently in the beautiful setting of Oriel College, Oxford to celebrate the new partnership between Oxford-based cancer charity Heads Up and Oracle Cancer Trust. Heads Up and Oracle Cancer Trust both share the same vision - to fund pioneering research into head and neck cancer to discover better and kinder treatments for patients. Over 40 supporters and volunteers attended the evening event.
The team of volunteers at Heads Up comprises of head and neck surgeon Mr Stuart Winter, Oncologist Dr Ketan Shah and Volunteers Leigh-Anne El-Barhdadi and Ray Derkacz who have all joined Oracle Cancer Trust as volunteers. Says Oracle's Voluntary CEO Jamie Newall "We are delighted that Heads Up will be joining Oracle Cancer Trust. Both charities have so much in common, from a committed community of supporters many of whom have been patients, led by excellent surgeons and oncologists and a focus on supporting early stage head and neck cancer research."
