Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma patient tells her story

Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) is a very rare salivary gland cancer and hard to treat  that mainly affects females. Belinda Charlton-Gilfoyle told her story recently to Sunday magazine about the struggle to get a diagnosis for her persistent and excruciating facial pain.

Oracle are funding a four year PhD research project under the supervision of Dr Amanda Swain to understand ACC and discover new treatments to support patients like Belinda.

Oracle funded research into ACC

Oracle is proud to be funding an project at the Institute of Cancer Research looking into new therapeutic options for ACC.
